Golden State Warriors v Sacramento Kings

Both teams are in great scoring shape. The Warriors score an average of 116.3 per game and the Kings are not that far behind with an average of 115.0 points so far this season. When speaking of form, it’s more than obvious that the Warriors have the advantage. Not only they are more consistent and stable but have legacy on their side as well. The Kings have lost three consecutive games and surely will be motivated to give their best to end this losing streak.

Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings are going through a rough period of the season. Not only have they dropped to 9th place in the western conference table, but they’ve also lost three consecutive games. Perhaps the fact that none of those losses was by more than 7 points difference gives some comfort to the players. Also, there are many games to be played till playoffs so all hopes are not lost for the Kings for sure. However, they welcome the Warriors at the Golden 1 Center this game. This season they’ve lost twice to Golden State although both of the games were tight. The Kings definitely need to win the third game as they have the home advantage.

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors played a long and tiring last game against the Rockets. Sadly for them, their efforts were in vein and they lost in the second overtime. Will the two rest days be enough for the game against the Kings? We will have to wait and see. The Warriors might have slight fatigue issues but it shouldn’t be a too much of a hindrance. They play amazing when away lately and have 4 wins out of the last 5 away games they played. Also the Kings have been the kind of opponent they like to play since they rarely lose to them. We are not going to see DeMarcus Cousins or Damian Jones this game due to injuries.

Our Verdict and Best Bets

To begin with, the players expected to shine this game for the Kings are Bogdan Bogdanovic, Willie Cauley-Stein and of course the Bahamian Buddy Hield. All of them put in great performances over the last couple of games and probably will tonight. The Kings will probably miss out on Marvin Bagley this game due to a knee injury. On the other hand, the players to keep an eye for the Warriors are Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry and the three point man Klay Thompson. The last one is the one to give the most considering the fact that he kept over 50 three point field goal percentage in the last 3 games. To conclude, the Warriors are true favorites to win this one. We can expect to see a high scoring game from both sides and as always the better defensive side will come on top. One of the few advantages the Kings are going to have is playing at home. Also, the Warriors might feel a bit more tired as they played a really long game against the Rockets.
