Orlando Magic v Sacramento Kings

The Kings are in worse shape form wise than Magic. The consecutive defeats will have had a great impact on how the team will perform but that can as well be a double edged sword. The motivation will be enormous and the will to win and stop the streak is going to be there for all to be seen. The Magic also are in bad shape especially when they play away. They also have a bad streak and will seek to improve against the Kings.

Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings slowly but surely fall deeper in the western conference table. They are on a pretty bad losing streak having lost the last four consecutive games. Even more depressing is the fact that they are only above the Suns when home games are in mind at the West. Out of 20 home games they played so far, only 10 were victories. However, the hope for the Kings is that all of the games they lost lately were close games. They were playing good, fought hard and still turned unlucky. In these hard times they need to keep their focus and keep playing good in order to maintain the playoffs dream. What they’ve done so far is astonishing and surprise to many, so why not make it even a greater achievement.

27.12.2018 WIN Sacramento Kings 117 – 116 Lakers
23.12.2018 WIN Sacramento Kings 122 – 117 Pelicans

Orlando Magic

The Magic will face a hard visit at the Golden 1 Center. At the moment, they occupy the 10-th place at the Eastern conference table, similar to the Kings in the western. They also lost 5 out of the last 6 away games they played and the playoffs are slowly slipping away. Unlike the Kings, the Magic faced some serious defeats lately and they must do some major changes in their game in order to keep their hopes up. The other important thing the Magic need to improve in is their defense. They must defend better and concede fewer points in the next couple of games. It’s certain that they will give all they have in this visit so we will surely see a great fight at the Golden 1 Center.

Our Verdict and Best Bets

The players who will probably end up missing out on this game are Marvin Bagley and Iman Schumpert for the home side and the center Timofey Mozgov for the away side. The Kings have a greater chance of winning this one not only because of the home advantage but also because they have won the last 4 games against Orlando Magic. This should not be a hard game for the Kings and they should use it to get back on the winning track. As for the players who’ll perform, we will probably see the best of Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic and Willie Cauley-Stein. They’ve all played some great games lately. On the other hand the Montenegrin Nikola Vucevic and the Frenchman Evan Fournier will surely have a thing or two to say tonight. They have also played impressively and the focus will be set on both of them tonight.
