Orlando Magic v Toronto Raptors

The two-seeded Toronto Raptors look to equal up their first round series against the Orlando Magic after a Game One upset game Orlando the 1-0 advantage.

Toronto Raptors

The Raptors enter the second game of their first round matchup with the Magic with great pressure. Toronto are in a must-win situation early in the playoffs after going down 1-0 to a surprising Magic team. Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry will be looking forward to turning his Game One performance around. Lowry missed every shot he took in the first game of the series, shooting 0-7 and scoring zero points in 34 minutes of playing time. Superstar Kawhi Leonard will have to produce another big performance. Leonard put up an efficient statline in Game One, scoring 25 points on 10 of 18 shooting. The forward has proven his superstar ability, and will have an endless green light, giving him a chance to have a huge game in Toronto on Tuesday.

Orlando Magic

The road trip to Toronto will already be deemed as a success by the Magic, who were able to steal the first game of the series from the Raptors. The win was huge for Orlando, who will be able to return home with at least one victory in the series. HIgh level three point shooting was key for the Magic, who were able to hit 48% of their three pointers in Game One on Saturday. Magic point guard D.J. Augustine shot 4 of 5 from behind the arc, and scored a team-high 25 points in the win. Augustine was able to step up in a big way for the Magic, who were able to get the result even without a big performance from their best player, Nikola Vucevic. Vucevic scored just 11 points on 3-14 shooting, far below his regular season average of 20.8 points per game. Expect the big man to bounce back in a big Game Two for the Magic.

The Orlando Magic have won their last five games, and have a record of 8-2 in their last 10 games. On the road, Orlando has a record of 1-0 so far in the postseason, and has went 4-1 in their last five away games dating back to the regular season.

One of the East’s top teams need a win on Tuesday as the Raptors attempt to avoid a 2-0 deficit against the Orlando Magic. Toronto is the huge favorite in this matchup, with sportsbooks assigning a -10.0 spread to Tuesday’s matchup. The number that bettors should be focused on is the 211 total. Both teams have averaged less than 105 points in the last 10 games between these two teams. Look for a low scoring Raptors victory in Game Two on Tuesday, knotting this series up at one a piece.
