Mayweather may have come out of ‘retirement’ to fight Tenshin Nasukawa for a payday, but let’s face it, it hasn’t counted towards his fight record which remains at 50-0.
Since the fight, ever the outspoken UFC fighter Conor McGregor has spoken of his wishes to fight Tenshin Nasukawa. As Nasukawa is a kickboxer, there would be more of a style match for both fighters and the possibility of this one going further than the 140 seconds it took Mayweather.
The exhibition match took place on New Years Eve.
McGreggor took to his Twitter account to express this saying:
“I wish to go to Tokyo to face Tenshin Nasukawa in a Mixed Martial Arts exhibition bout,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Please arrange this, this instant. Yours sincerely, the champ champ,” he added in a tweet directed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship and his management company Paradigm Sports.”
McGregor fought Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov in October last year, which ended in a defeat for the Irishman.
